Caroline Mutoko was attacked by thugs last night at her home in the affluent Nyari area. From the information we are receiving, it was something like a scene straight from an espionage flick. This is how the fateful night unfolded:
The robbers scaled the wall of the compound. Once they had gained access to the compound, they attacked the guards and tied them up. After neutralising the threat the guards posed, they then gained access to the house.
All this was happening unbeknownst to Caroline who lay asleep after a hard day's work at Radio Africa with her 3 year old daughter.
Once inside, they proceeded to clean the house of the electronics and furniture.
According to Nairobi Area police chief Benson Kibue, the gang stole household and electronic goods and unknown amount of money from the house. “We are yet to know the motive, if any but we are looking for the gang which escaped to Gachie area. We are after them,” said Kibue.
